Laborers’ Mid Atlantic And MAROC

MAROC, or the Mid Atlantic Regional Organizing Coalition, is an all encompassing scheme that was initially designed to give Construction Craft Laborers a voice and have their grievances heard. Since its inception, and thanks to incredible success in its work, MAROC has grown and evolved to encompass virtually every industry and a broad range of workers from within the industries. As well as laborers and manual workers, MAROC now represents people from numerous public sector workplaces, ensuring that they receive fair and reasonable treatment.

LiUNA, backed by its vice president Dennis L Martire, knows that the most effective union needs to work for both the employee and the employer and MAROC has benefited from this ethos. MAROC has also benefited from this same strong mission’ its skilled members arranging campaigns to highlight issues and encourage greater LiUNA membership. The more people that join, the greater the power of the union and the greater the benefits to all of its members.

Dennis L Martire and LiUNA aim to provide a voice for all workers in the Mid Atlantic region that want to join. Through training, negotiation, and representation, they have helped workers to gain access to better pay, better working conditions, and improved opportunities and working conditions. They continue to strive to get the best for their members while also continuing to expand beyond their existing boundaries, in terms of the industries and careers that they represent. LiUNA membership offers substantial and almost immeasurable benefits to all of its members.
